A series about a competition called the Alice Game in which Rozen Maidens (living dolls) fight against each other to become the perfect girl. They compete with the aid of mediums (who are humans that the dolls were delivered to and who then formed contracts with them). I quite appreciated the art, characters and story generally. The occasional humour is also rather enjoyable. Overall it is one of my favourite series. The manga is fairly different in many ways particularly the later parts of the manga but regardless I found it to be excellent for largely the same reasons. You can read it online here.
