WHY WHY

8. Drag Strip – Nancy Bartholomew

9. Film Strip – Nancy Bartholomew

10. Geektastic: Stories from the Nerd Herd – Anthology

11. Strip Poker – Nancy Bartholomew

So, finished off the Sierra Lavotini series.  Last book ends by opening up some juicy new plot threads, then I go online and learn that the publisher doesn’t want to continue the series, which is not to say that the author feels the same.  If she had her way, she’d definitely continue, which is something, at least.  Ugh.

Geektastic is an anthology of nerdy stories for young adults.  Twas a Christmas present from one of my very best friends (Luff you!), so it was started in December and finished the other day.  I so enjoyed it, and I think there’s a wide enough variety of stories that most any geek would enjoy it too.

I finished this batch a little later than I expected, in part due to the semester starting and me having to get to sleep at a reasonable hour (I do my best reading in the middle of the night), but also largely due to me finishing off watching Red Garden and catching up on Fables.  Nothing like anime and comics to recharge after all the paper-cut making prose books.  That’s right.  Last week I got about six papercuts in two days.

Next on the agenda are the last two Harper Connelly books, but there’s a twist.  My web design 2 project is going to be sort of an encyclopedia site for those books, so I expect to be reading and rereading these all semester.  Also, the young adult section of my library finally reopened after remodeling, so I’ve picked up a couple of books that I may end up reading first.  Who knows.

I’ve also got about a dozen more chapters of Fables and the entirety of Jack of Fables to catch up on, and a few new DVD sets of anime to watch.  A Suncoast near us has been having a massive liquidating sale, so everything was 50% or more off.

Going to be busy busy busy!
