Is Obama an Otaku or media whore?
We all know how well the US get along with Japan. They have to. But the following picture is proof that, not only does the Japanese PM, Yukio Hatoyama, enjoy anime, the US President, Barack Obama does as well, not saying that’s a bad thing though.
This picture was taken at a special screening of hit, emmy-award winning anime movie, Afro Samurai: Resurrection.
Although, Obama might have just been for a media stunt, cause we all know that he’s as much of a media whore as Australian PM Kevin Rudd, appearing on most talk shows in the US. Yet I remain hopeful that Obama is there on his own accord (most likely at the invitation of the Japanese PM), and I hope he enjoyed it just much as everyone else did (when it was shown on US TV and Australian TV months before it came out in Japan).
